Ce langage technique utilise les d\u00e9finitions, les symboles et les r\u00e8gles d&#8217;application n\u00e9cessaires pour documenter clairement la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie nominale ainsi que les variations acceptables des caract\u00e9ristiques. Cela inclut les exigences fonctionnelles d&#8217;une pi\u00e8ce d&#8217;assemblage fabriqu\u00e9e et permet de garantir la compatibilit\u00e9 et l&#8217;interchangeabilit\u00e9 de ces pi\u00e8ces.  <\/p>\n<p>La GD&amp;T est codifi\u00e9e par l&#8217;<strong>ASME &#8211; The American Society of Mechanical Engineers &#8211; https:\/\/www.asme.org\/<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span>La norme Y14.5 est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme la ligne directrice faisant autorit\u00e9 pour le langage de conception de la cotation g\u00e9om\u00e9trique et du tol\u00e9rancement (GD&amp;T). Elle \u00e9tablit des symboles, des r\u00e8gles, des d\u00e9finitions, des exigences, des valeurs par d\u00e9faut et des pratiques recommand\u00e9es pour \u00e9noncer et interpr\u00e9ter la GD&amp;T et les exigences connexes \u00e0 utiliser sur les dessins d&#8217;ing\u00e9nierie, les mod\u00e8les d\u00e9finis dans les fichiers de donn\u00e9es num\u00e9riques et dans les documents connexes.<\/span><br><span>La GD&amp;T est un outil essentiel pour communiquer l&#8217;intention de la conception &#8211; que les pi\u00e8ces des dessins techniques aient la forme, l&#8217;ajustement, la fonction et l&#8217;interchangeabilit\u00e9 souhait\u00e9s.
